The team investigates the murder of 17 year old skate-boarder NASH back in 1995, when he was escaping from a terrible homelife and trying to make some money so he could get his yonger brother MICK to live with him. Unfortunately, the pressures of the street and the cut-throat competition of boarders to get sponsors resulted in Nash’s murder, which remained unsolved…till now…

[NASH (1995)] 17 years old, whip thin, torn jeans, ratty shoes, a good kid caught in a nightmarish home situation, Nash is a very talented skateboarder, effortless, graceful, daring and charismatic. With his mom involved in an abusive relationship with her new boyfriend, Nash takes off from New Jersey to Philly, despite his regrets at leaving his younger brother Mick to bear the brunt of their mom’s mistakes. Part of the street skateboarder crowd in Philly, Nash makes an enemy of local boarder Grady by stealing his girl and catching the eye of Grady’s sponsor. Determined to get a sponsor so he can make some serious cash and bring Mick to live with him, Nash finds that his effortless talent brings him not only success, but tragedy…GUEST STAR (1)PLEASE SUBMIT ACTORS WHO CAN SKATEBOARD OR WHO ARE PROFESSIONAL SKATEBOARDERS. [CAL (1995)] 18, Latino, Cal is a skateboarder on the streets of Philadelphia and a good friend of Nash’s; both boys have each other’s backs. Already a strung-out drug addict and filled with nervous energy whose own talent is going downhill from the drugs, Cal grows envious of Nash’s talent and doesn’t take kindly to Nash’s warning him that the drugs are what’s keeping him down. Ultimately, Cal not only murders his friend, but sells him out to a rival skateboarder as well…GUEST STAR (15) PLEASE SUBMIT ACTORS WHO CAN SKATEBOARD OR WHO ARE PROFESSIONAL SKATEBOARDERS. [STEVE (1995/2009)] 38, the longtime owner of a custom skate shop in Philadephia, Steve’s former grunge look has molted into the trying-too-hard hipster look, complete with vintage T, belly, gray hair and wrists full of dirty leather bracelets and prayer beads. Questioned by Vera and Miller because of his friendship with Nash and Cal back in 1995, Steve remembers Nash very well, particularly his extraordinary talent, and also gives some clues about Nash’s contentious relationship with his rival, Grady. Struggling back in 1995, Steve never has much money but he puts his business on the line when he decides to sponsor Nash, only to find that Nash went with a more financially secure deal…GUEST STAR (18)

He’s both tough and defensive under their questioning, but the wind is taken out of his sails when he finally has to admit that he stole the trick that could have made Nash famous…GUEST STAR (22)

[GRADY (1995)] 18, a white boy who’s got game and local fame from his prowess as a skateboarder in the streets of Philadelphia. A force to be reckoned with on the street, Grady is instantly anatagonistic towards newcomer Nash, especially since Nash seems to be a talented skater with better tricks and an attraction to Grady’s girlfriend, Vonda. Already a pro with his own sponsor, Grady later buys a video of Nash’s signature trick from Cal, and makes it his own…GUEST STAR (19) PLEASE SUBMIT ACTORS WHO CAN SKATEBOARD OR WHO ARE PROFESSIONAL SKATEBOARDERS.
